  1. Dan + Keri // Feature Film from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

One of the great things about our job, is the connection we have with our couples. Either we’re both big Gator fans, went to school together, shot a friend of theirs wedding or, in the case of Dan and Keri, our parents met while on vacation in Mexico! Shortly after Keri booked us for her July wedding, we discovered Dan’s Mother met my parents at a resort in Mexico last November. They didn’t immediately make the connection till Keri told her future Mother-in-Law who she booked to capture her day. Keri is also the cousin of one of our past brides (and my old college roommate), Stephanie. Every day we discover how truly small our world is, and how every one of us is connected in some way or another. Which, we think, totally rocks!

Anywho, back to Dan and Keri’s wedding! Dan and Keri were married at Orange Park Presbyterian, followed by a gorgeous reception at the Orange Park Woman’s Club. Keri and Dan booked our joint package with Matt Whytsell Photography, so we had the chance to hang with one of our favorite photography crews too, while Keri and Dan got an incredible deal. A win-win for all!

The details at Dan and Keri’s wedding were incredible. From the photo booth, to the lemonade stand, to the dessert bar, and their cupcake tower - delicious! We are totally loving the cupcake alternative to wedding cakes. So yummy - and portion controlled. Good for those who are watching those post-prego pounds (me! lol).

Dan and Keri - we are so happy you found us and booked us! We had so much fun with you both. Wishing you both the best! Much love, GBVideo.

  2. Daniel + Elizabeth // Highlight Reel from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

One of my favorites. I mean, how can you go wrong with custom vows and gator details, along with a fun wedding party?

Through all the St. Augustine weddings we have captured, we have yet to have the opportunity to capture a wedding at the beautiful River House in St. Augustine. Seriously… this place is GORGEOUS. It basically feels like a big house, with a library (complete with fireplace!), entry foyer, rooms to get ready in, back decks and lawns for tailgate games and ceremonies, and of course, a beautiful ballroom for a reception. This place has it all. It was the perfect location for Daniel and Elizabeth’s wedding.

Let me tell you, I have never been to a wedding with so many details. Elizabeth really outdid herself. Even the shelves and mantle in the library at the River House was decorated with flowers and personal details. Every where you turned there was something sweet and special representing the couple’s fun personalities and love for each other. And the theme of their day… “Best Day Ever.” Love it!

Daniel and Elizabeth had a great wedding party who kept us laughing all day long. Which, obviously, made for some fantastic footage. We also had the chance to meet Sarah of Sarahdipity Photography - who was incredibly cool! She also is super talented. Be sure to check out the photos she posted from Daniel and Elizabeth’s Wedding. They rock!

  3. Ryan + Caroline // Highlight Reel from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

We’re back! And, oh my gosh… what a wedding to come back to!

As you might have noticed, we haven’t put up a new wedding reel in over 5 months! Of course, our new bundle of joy just had to be born in the middle of busiest couple of months for us wedding vendors: March & April. We don’t typically get too much in January and February which is nice because it’s usually the only time we get a chance to go on vacation and such. So, with the slow months of January and February and our months off for Tanner, March and April, we didn’t get the opportunity to capture the love we love to capture until Caroline and Ryan’s wedding.

Of course, we had other things to keep us busy (not to mention a baby) like the Lakeside Ranch Promo, Matt’s Proposal Video, the Beloved Photography Promo with Kristin Kozelsky, and the Fairytale Wedding Show.

But, more about our awesome couple… and their perfect wedding day!

    Caroline and Ryan 3

The day started off at this amazing beach house in Ponte Vedra Beach. The first half of the day was perfect: sunny, warm, with a slight breeze. It was everything you could ask for with a wedding by the beach. We finished up at the house with Caroline getting into her amazing dress and Ryan seeing her for the first time at their first look.

Then we were off to the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club Spa’s lawn which is nestled between the beach and a golf course. What a nice spot! The wedding went off without a hitch despite the fact that Caroline and Ryan had, like, a ZILLION bridesmaids and groomsmen! I think only Myron and Michelle beat them out on this one. They were all awesome, though, and were a true testament to the type of people that Caroline and Ryan are. Not everyone can amass that many people close enough to have as an integral part of your wedding day.

Just as Tania from Clear Skies Photography was finishing up the family portraits, the rain started to fall. So, with a brisker-than-usual pace, we trekked across the street to the actual Inn and Club where they were having the reception in an open courtyard. Oh no! Not to worry, though. When the time came for them to be introduced and have their first dance, the rain had subsided and, thanks to G-Nys Entertainment, the rest of the reception was full of dancing, laughter, and fun and capped off by what had to be the best-organized sparkler exit of all time.

    Caroline and Ryan 7

We wish Caroline and Ryan the best for the future and we have absolutely no doubt that will be the case with all the friends and family. Caroline’s father put it best: “The most important things in life are not things. They’re the people who you’ve touched their lives and who’ve touched your lives. And these people are here because you’ve touched their lives…”

Stay tuned for more updates as we get back in the swing of things with a new baby, and tackle more reels! :)

  4. Baby Tanner // Mother’s Day 2013 from Gator Bride Videography on Vimeo.

Isn’t that just the sweetest? Kyle put this together for me for my first Mother’s Day. It is an amazing reminder of just how wonderful my little baby boy is.

Becoming a Mother hasn’t been easy. No one can truly prepare you for the task at hand. The first few weeks were rough. Getting used to a new sleep schedule and realizing I can no longer run out “real quick” to pick up something (also those party weekends at a friend’s house for their birthday are totally out the door too!).

Needless to say, Amazon Prime has become my best friend. That and Netflix. LOVE. They both make my life just a little bit easier. Which is needed when your little one has reflux (God bless all those parents who have dealt with this - rough, rough, rough!).

Every week gets better. And now, my baby boy is 10 weeks old. 10 WEEKS! I don’t know how we got here. Oh yes, I do know how - with lots of snuggles, diaper changes, late night (and early morning!) feedings, play time with our friends Hootie and Roy (his Jellycat Gator), stroller rides that ended in crying sessions, all-day baby-wearing sessions (Love you Moby and Ergo), and lots of belly kisses!

So, here’s to all the Mothers out there. Hope your day was perfect and that you got uninterrupted bathroom time. :)

    Happy Mother’s Day!

  5. At just 1 week old, Tanner had his newborn photography session with one of our friends we went to high school with who is now a rad newborn photographer! Kelli of Beautiful Moments Photography did a ridiculously amazing job capturing our little Tan-man. Even though he was a little difficult during the shoot (pooping, peeing and fussing!), she was still able to capture a few images of our little peanut.

So sweet. I mean… look at that FACE. Adorable.

I’m currently trying to figure out which to have printed on a big canvas. I’m actually a little happy he was so fussy during the shoot, because if I had any more images to choose from, I’d have even more trouble deciding which one to print!

Thank you Kelli for capturing our Tan so perfectly. We are forever thankful to you. Much Love♥.
